U.S. Pedestrian Deaths

I shot and edited this PBS NewsHour segment as part of a wider investigation into high pedestrian fatality rates in the U.S. Sun Belt. This story placed second in the Broadcast Education Association’s award for television hard news reporting. It was also a finalist for a regional Society of Professional Journalists Mark of Excellence award for in-depth reporting and breaking television news. Additionally, I contributed reporting to the companion version of this story that published in the Los Angles Times.
